Happy Friday, revered backers!

We’ve had a great week and we’re just a few backers away from ringing that funding bell!

We’ve also updated the gallery of available canvas print images. We’ve been keeping a list of requests and while we can’t accommodate all of them, we’re going to try to get as many print options in there as we can. If you have made a request and you haven’t seen it added to the options, it’s either because a) we just haven’t added it yet or b) we don’t have a digital file of it that we think will translate well to the larger canvas format or c) there’s not a good way to crop the image so that it still looks great in the proportions of the canvas.

WALLPAPER #3 — Shadow Sun Syndicate vs Martian Menace!

The ‘Bs’ have it!

With a margin of only two votes, round three was won by option ‘B’ featuring a downtown battle between the Shadow Sun Syndicate and the Martian Menace! This will become the next Desktop Wallpaper available for download very soon.

Our next Desktop Wallpaper poll will go out if this project hits 1,000 backers. We only need about 70 more backers to hit our funding goal and then we’re into stretch goal territory and we’re not even halfway through the campaign yet. Keep sharing!

DESKTOP WALLPAPER POLL#3 — MONSTERPOCALYPSE!!!

Greetings Backers of The Art of Privateer Press,

This is the next installment of our Desktop Wallpaper polls, where as backers, you will get to determine the next image to be made into desktop wallpaper. After every 250 backers that pledge for The Art of Privateer Press, we’ll run a new poll through a closed, backer-only update. From our selection of four images, you’ll be able to vote to determine which one we will use.

With 750 backers now pledged for The Art of Privateer Press, we’re going to conduct our third poll to decide a Monsterpocalypse desktop wallpaper!

Below are four images, each with a corresponding letter next to the picture. In the comments section OF THIS UPDATE, please post with only the letter next to the image you would most like to see made into desktop wallpaper. Please refrain from making comments, as we have to count all these the old fashioned way! And please, only vote once. Multiple votes cast by the same person will invalidate that person’s vote.

Voting will be open until 7:30 pm on Thursday, January 17, at which time we’ll tally the votes to determine the winner. We hope you’ll cast your vote and participate in this process as we continue to push this project forward.

The verdict is in! 

Once again, it was an extremely tight race with a legitimate tie between two of the factions at the end. Cryx and Khador share the prize in our second round of polling, and rather than having to decide between one, we've done wallpapers for both! WALLPAPER #1 — CIRCLE ORBOROS

The backers have spoken! 

In our first Desktop Wallpaper poll, pulling out a win by the slimmest of margins is Circle Orboros. It was a very tight race, with the winning image being decided by only a few votes.

The second poll to decide a WARMACHINE desktop wallpaper is currently underway. We'll run a new poll with every 250 backers who pledge for The Art of Privateer Press, and if we have the opportunity to do enough of them, we'll revisit subjects with close calls and will give some of those images a second chance.

Our graphic design team will set up the Circle Orboros wallpaper over the next 24 hours and we'll provide a download link in an upcoming update where you can retrieve the image.
