IMPORTANT REWARD FULFILLMENT INFO FOR INTERNATIONAL BACKERS
almost 5 years ago – Mon, Jul 29, 2019 at 11:22:53 PM

Dear Backers,

Much to our disappointment, and worse, the inconvenience of several of the backers of The Art of Privateer Press, it has come to our attention that we have experienced a widespread delivery malfunction of the JAIMs rewards.

These were originally shipped in May and should have all found their destinations by now. While a few reports had trickled in that a reward here and there had not shown up, this is not uncommon with international shipping and we thought it was par for the course and have fulfilled any missing reward reports as quickly as they have come in. It is only today that we have realized that the problem is more widespread, and a significant number of backers in Canada and Australia have likely been affected.

We are investigating the issue but do not wish to delay delivery of your rewards any more than than has already. Especially if you are a backer in Canada or Australia, but no matter where you may be located, if you have not yet received your JAIMs rewards (and if you have not already contacted us about it), please contact us either through the Kickstarter messenger for this campaign or through our customer service email, [email protected] with the following info:

Your Name

Your Shipping Address

The number of JAIMs models you pledged for

We will send replacements models out ASAP.

Please DO NOT put your replacement request in the comments section of the Kickstarter or this update as it will may get lost among the stream of comments. Your message or email ensures that we can track your replacement request through our system and can expedite its shipment.

If you have already contacted us for a replacement, then your request has been processed and your replacement will be sent right away.

We are deeply sorry for this inconvenience and regret that it was not realized sooner. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we endeavor to rectify the problem as quickly as possible.

Gen Con Approaches!
almost 5 years ago – Fri, Jul 26, 2019 at 11:53:32 PM

Greeting backers of The Art of Privateer Press,

With the imminent Gen Con about to consume the collective consciousness of the gaming community at large, we wanted to post an update and invite anyone attending to please come by the Privateer Press booth to say hi. We'd love to thank you for your support in person!

As the canvas print and miniature rewards have all shipped and delivered, there's not a great deal to report on the status of the art book other than to say it is currently being laid out and is on schedule to go to press this fall. Below, you can see a sample spread, created by the talented graphic designer, Vladimir Kokolia. (Note: text details get filled in once the section is complete, so don't worry that the artist names and titles aren't there yet!)

We'll show a few more sample spreads in the comings months, but we really want to preserve as much of the book as possible for when you receive it. There is nothing like perusing the pages of a glorious art book for the very first time.

The biggest challenge in bringing this project together is choosing what goes into it. With literally thousands of pieces of artwork, we've had to make some tough decisions. We want to show off the art as large as possible, but we also want as much as possible in there. And meanwhile, we keep making more!

As backers of The Art of Privateer Press, many of you were the first to get your hands on the first ever Riot Quest model, J.A.I.M.s. If you happen to be at Gen Con next week, make sure to take a few minutes to check out a demo of Privateer's new Riot Quest Arena Miniatures Game, which will be debuting for the first time. It's fantastic fun!

We hope to see many of you in Indianapolis next week! Until next time, many thanks for your support!

We are pleased to announce that our production team has been hard at work and beginning next week, the 'J.A.I.M.s' (Iron Maiden) models will begin shipping to all backers of a Full Metal pledge tier. Please allow extra time for international orders. We will make an announcement once all J.A.I.M.s models have been shipped so that if for any reason she doesn't show up in a timely fashion, you'll know when to contact us.

Also to begin shipping next week are the canvas prints. As each one of the prints is a custom order, it will take a few weeks to process all of them. Again, we'll make an announcement once they have all shipped. In the meantime, if you've pledged for one of the canvas art prints, pick out a great bit of wall space for your beautiful new work of art!

Much thanks!

Reminder: JAIMS model upgrade
about 5 years ago – Thu, Apr 25, 2019 at 02:47:18 AM

Hello backers,

We’ve been seeing a lot of confusion regarding the JAIMS model add-on. As we mention on the original Kickstarter rewards, we only offer the JAIMS model as an add on to tiers which include the art book (digital or physical).

The reasoning is simple, this Kickstarter is meant as a way to produce a high-quality art book, with things like the model and canvas prints as extras as a way to thank those who help us reach our goals.

The JAIMS model will be available through normal means later this year, but we are offering it early for backers who support the book.

So to put it plainly, if you backed at the $1 level you will not be able to add on the JAIMS model, unless you upgrade to one of the higher tiers that includes a digital or physical book. This was our intention all along.

We apologize for any confusion and thank everyone who helped us make this great art collection volume a reality.

With regards,

Privateer Press
